The first competition of the year 2025, saw a Bronze place medal for Performance swimmer Harry Ko at the HKGSA Open Water competition at Tai Mei Tuk. Harry swam in the 3.3 km race, under the 13 & over Men’s competition. A great result for Harry in a very tough race!

HWI-SCA sent a big team to race at this meet. A number of students who study abroad, also joined the team, while back in HKG for xmas training. Everyone achieved good results
This was the first of the Division 3 Short Course series for the Season 2024-25.HWI-SCAA coaches sent a big team to let as many young swimmers as possible gain some experience of the HKGSA competitions. All the swimmers did very well; there was a huge number of competitors from clubs, such that HKGSA had to remove the warm ups. It was a very long day for the coaches! Well done to all the swimmers who improved or gained personal best qualifying times.
A group of HWI swimmers were recently invited to join an event with Siobhan Haughey at the AIA Carnival promotion. The company of Action House asked us to select 20 swimmers, and in turn we asked coaches to choose some swimmers from Gold squad.
SCA/HWI alumni Siobhán Haughey has once again proven herself as one of the world's elite swimmers, successfully defending her 200m freestyle world crown with an extraordinary performance in Budapest! Touching the wall in a blistering time of 1:50.62, Siobhán dominated the field, demonstrating her exceptional skill and determination.
