The Division 2, Part 2 Short Course meet, hosted by HWI-SCAA, was a remarkable event, with the club taking its turn to support the HKGSA officials. Thanks to the dedication of numerous parents and swimmers who volunteered as staff, the competition ran exceptionally well. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed! Coach Chui Wai Chun did an outstanding job coordinating volunteers and organising on the day.
The first competition of the year 2025, saw a Bronze place medal for Performance swimmer Harry Ko at the HKGSA Open Water competition at Tai Mei Tuk. Harry swam in the 3.3 km race, under the 13 & over Men’s competition. A great result for Harry in a very tough race!

This was the first of the Division 3 Short Course series for the Season 2024-25.HWI-SCAA coaches sent a big team to let as many young swimmers as possible gain some experience of the HKGSA competitions. All the swimmers did very well; there was a huge number of competitors from clubs, such that HKGSA had to remove the warm ups. It was a very long day for the coaches! Well done to all the swimmers who improved or gained personal best qualifying times.
A group of HWI swimmers were recently invited to join an event with Siobhan Haughey at the AIA Carnival promotion. The company of Action House asked us to select 20 swimmers, and in turn we asked coaches to choose some swimmers from Gold squad.
