This was the last of this year's HKGSA Long Course D2 meets. We didn’t have as many swimmers as usual enter in this meet, but everyone performed at their best with some great results!
HWI-SCA send a strong team to race in this competition and everyone performed very well. This is a championship, divided by overall Results so all swimmers can count for team points.
Hope everyone got to watch the very exciting 200m Freestyle race yesterday - Siobhan swam a brave and amazing race, leading the field for most of the way; the 2 Australians Ariane Titmus and Mollie O'Callaghan grabbed the Gold and Silver.
As this competition was held in the middle of the summer vacation, there were fewer participants than normal. Well done to all swimmers who took part – all performed very well.
Once more, we had a good number of swimmers attending and representing the HWI-SCAA team. Well done to all the children on their results. It is great to see so many young swimmers gaining competition experience from HKGSA meets such as this one. It is important for swimmers to build on their knowledge of racing, with personal best times giving confidence and motivation!
