morning at 9:45 Russian Time, Siobhan Haughey narrowly missed to qualify for Semis (0.04 sec.) in the 100 m freestyle. Siobhan's 54.94 ranked her 18th in a field of 90 competitors. Nevertheless she achieved a "B Cut" for Rio. She now has two more opportunities to compete for an Olympic Qualification during the World Championships here in Russia. Watch out for her on Saturday in the 50 m freestyle and on Sunday with the 4 x 100 m IM relay.
