MILES WILLIAMS (17 yrs.) storms to NEW HONG KONG RECORD in the 1500 m freestyle.

Saturday 4th July 2015; HKASA Division 1 meet at Victoria Park Swimming Pool
In the last heat of the 1500 m races, Miles Williams broke the Hong Kong Record by smashing Chung KWOK Leung's mark set in the year 2004.
Miles touched in 15:35.78 which lowered Alex Chung's mark by almost 3 seconds.
Miles you have done us all proud!
In the heat before, Gordon Mason (16 yrs) shaved 21 seconds of his old personal best time to touch in 16:24.21.
HWI also had three girls in the 800 m freestyle event. All of them did respectable times. Jemima Ridley (15 yrs.) took seven seconds off her old mark to finish in 9:21.47. Nicole Evans (14 yrs) racing this distance for the first time in over 12 months, claimed the BRONZE MEDAL with a 9:15:00 and Annekah Styles came home in 9:58.18.
