 Apologies for the delay in posting results for this competition. Due to the cancellation of some heats, the results were subsequently delayed from the HKASA. Individual results are now available from Team manager and posted on the news tab (drop down on NEWS TAB) The Division 2 part 3 was held in Tseung Kwan O swimming pool; there were 27 swimmers participating. The weather was very unstable with heavy rain and thunderstorms, which caused half of the morning session to be cancelled. This was also the first race after the summer vacation, and although some of our swimmers had not regained their 100% fitness after holidays, they still put in a good effort striving for best results. Highlights; In the morning Kimberly Hobson won the 50 backstroke in the13-14 girls category with a time 34.61 and also qualified for D1 Jude Chen swam a strong 50 breaststroke; with a time of 42.27 he came home with a gold medal. Swimmers finishing in Top 8 places included; Leong Kin Ron Keith Teh Thomas Chan Giselle Lee Greta Mcmahon Charlotte McFarland Many swimmers also improved their PBs and reached the D1 standard, but sorry to those swimmers who couldn’t race in their events due to the thunderstorm warning.
