 Head Coach Michael Fasching Off To The Asian Games! Our Head Coach Michael Fasching jets off to Jakarta this afternoon as one of the Hong Kong National swimming coaches for the 18th Asian Games! The opening Ceremony of the second biggest multi sports event will be held on Saturday 18th August. The first Swimming Events are due to start on Sunday the 19th, and will run for 6 days to the 24th. We are all missing World Championship Finalist Siobhan Haughey who has to sit out this Games due to injury. However SCA’s Kong Man Yee Yvette will feature in the 50 m Breaststroke on Friday 24th. Watch out for the women’s 4 x 100 m freestyle relay on Sunday evening as Hong Kong’s four fastest freestylers are deferment to repeat their Bronze Medal Performance from the 2014 edition of the Games.
