Summer Lam and Sarah Chu travelled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to race as part of the Hong Kong Team at the Malaysian Age Nationals. This is the first national trip for both young swimmers. They had 3 training sessions in KL before the racing started..

Summer Lam picked up 6 Medals throughout the 4 day meet. She swam 4 Individual swims 100,200,400 Free & 50 Fly. She also helped Team HKG pick up 2 Gold in the 4x100 Fr & Medley Relay while breaking the Meet Record in the process. During the individual swims she swam 3Pb's from 4 Swims.

Sarah Chu picked up 9 Medals in total. 2 Relay Golds and 6 Individual Medals. She raced in the 50,100,200 Free, 100,200 Fly, 200 Back & 200 I.M. She broke the Individual Meet Record in the 50 Free (27.71) & 100 Free (1:00.27). She was also part of the Relays Teams that picked up Gold and broke the Meet Record. She had 7swims and 5Pb's.

Both girls coped well in challenging conditions with the heat and humidity, This was an action packed 2 weeks for the girls as they raced Malaysia coming of the back of HK Age Nationals where Summer picked 2 medals and finished with 100% PB Rate (6/6) and Sarah 2 Medals with 100% PB Rate (6/6)
