You will receive confirmation of your application, followed by a payment link and deadline to reserve your place.  You are welcome to apply for one or both camps.  If places are not filled by HWI swimmers, the spaces will be opened up to overseas swimmers.

Harry Wright swimmers who enrol (and pay camp fee) will have one week reduction of their normal  training fee.

  • Development Stream – 12 yrs old and younger {Half Day Camp} @ $6000 per camp
  • Performance Stream – {Full Day Camp (plus half day Sat)} @ $8000 per camp

The camp will be staffed with our most experienced HWI Coaches who will lead the training on deck for both water and land training sessions.

All Campers will have to also fill out an indemnity form as well as a medical declaration form.

Swimmers will be given be given a Swim Camp T shirt

Development Stream: Price for HWI swimmers $6000 per camp

Open to Swimmers age 8 - 12 yrs. who are competing in Hong Kong D3 or higher division, and are of HWI/SCA, Silver and Gold Squad Level.

The Development Stream Camp will have a great emphasis on IM and all round swim technique development, focusing on technique and skills.  This will be a half day camp with swimmers doing one swim session, classroom session and a dryland session per camp day.

Camp Schedule:

8:50 – 9:00                                          Reception and get changed into sports wear

9:00 – 9:45                                          Dryland Session at the pool side gym room

9:45 – 10:00                                        Hydration and transition to swim training

10:00 – 12:00                                      Pool Session - Technique and skill work with daily stroke

                                                                  Rotating stroke emphasis

12:00 – 12:30                                      Transition to Lunch via changing room

12:30 – 13:30                                      Lunch Break (at SCAA Inside Out cafe)

13:30 – 13:45                                      Transition to gym room for classroom theory session

13:45 – 14:30                                          Theory session – swim technique specific

All Swimmers need to arrive on time for all sessions and bring the following:

  • Equipment Bag – Kick Board, Fins, Pull Buoy, Snorkel, Fins and Water Bottles
  • Spare Swim Cap and Goggles
  • Spare Swim Suit
  • Yoga Mat
  • Athletic Gear – Shorts, T shirt  and Trainers
  • Money for Lunch and snacks

Performance Stream: Price for HWI swimmers $8000

Open to Swimmers age 10 yrs and over who train a minimum of 5 time a week with our Performance Squad or Competitive, or 13 yrs old Gold Squad swimmers. Attendees should have experience in racing regularly  in Hong Kong Division 1 and  2 , Hong Kong Age Group Championships or overseas in similar high level age group competitions.

The Performance Swim Camp will have a great emphasis on building a great technical foundation at the start of the season in all four strokes as well as starts, turns and finishes. Advanced Physical and swim fitness is required.

The Performance camp will be a full day camp starting at 7:40 – 17:15

Camp Schedule:

7:40 – 8:00                                          Land Activation

8:00 – 10:00                                        Water and Skilled based sessions with daily stroke focus

10:00 – 10:30                                          Recovery, Snack and Transition to pool side gym

10:30 – 11:30                                      Land Training

11:30 – 11:45                                      Recovery, snack, transition to theory session

11:45 – 12:45                                      Class Room theory Session

12:45 – 13:00                                      Transition to Lunch

13:00 – 14:30                                      Lunch at “In Side Out”

14:30 – 14:45                                         Transition to swimming pool via changing rooms

14:45 – 17:00                                         Pool based training session                                                  

17:00 – 17:15                                         Review of daily learning outcomes and release
