Stroke Camp and Sprint Meet News

Sunday 26th October - SCAA pool

This Sunday a group of 14 squad swimmers enjoyed the FREESTYLE STROKE CAMP in the afternoon. There are still 2 more stroke camps this year: BACKSTROKE CAMP on November 9th and BREASTROKE CAMP on December 14th.  There are a few spaces if anyone would like to still sign up (if becomes full, I will start a waitlist)  Note - the Breaststroke Camp will feature HGK National Breastroke swimmer Adam Chillingworth as guest coach!

The camp on Sunday was followed by another successful SPRINT MEET, with nearly 100 of our Developmental squad swimmers taking part, some for their first competition experience.  Well Done to all the swimmers who competed - and now have a record of their personal best times, or improvements.  SPECIAL THANKS to those PARENTS who helped with the timekeeping - this enables us to race all the children in 4 x 50m of each stroke in the time allowed.   Look out on the Team website Events page for future Sprint meets in the new year.
