Harry Wright Swimmers Medal at Malaysian Age Group Championships February 2026

Harry Wright Swim School swimmers Isobel Tran Anh Gia and Adam Chillingworth Lok Hang delivered outstanding performances at the Malaysian Age Group Championships held 5–8 February 2026 at Kuala Lumpur Sports City National Aquatic Centre, Malaysia, as part of the Hong Kong National Age Group Team.

Event Background

The Malaysian Age Group Championships is a prestigious international age-group competition. Both Isobel Tran and Adam Chillingworth represented Hong Kong at the invitation of the national team selectors, demonstrating the depth of talent nurtured through Harry Wright Swim School.

Results

Isobel Tran Anh Gia (12 years) achieved personal best times in all five individual events:
Day 1: 200m Backstroke — 2'31"28 PB 🥉; 4x200m Freestyle Relay 🥇
Day 2: 100m Freestyle — 1'02"11 PB 🥈; 50m Backstroke — 32"85 — 4th; 4x100m IM Relay 🥇 (Backstroke leg 1'09"49 PB)
Day 3: 100m Backstroke — 1'09"68 🥉; Mixed 4x100m Freestyle Relay 🥇; 4x100m Freestyle Relay 🥇
Day 4: 50m Freestyle — 28"55 PB — 4th; Mixed 4x100m IM Relay 🥇
Isobel won gold in all five relays and earned 1 Silver, 2 Bronze, and 2 x 4th in her individual events.

Adam Chillingworth Lok Hang:
100m Breaststroke — 1'02"90 — 4th
200m Breaststroke — 2'14"98 🥈
