Harry Wright Swimmers Win 13 Medals at Division 3 Part 3 Long Course Hong Kong

Harry Wright Swim School swimmers closed the Long Course season in style at the Division 3 Part 3 Age Group Competition in Hong Kong, collecting 13 medals at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Swimming Pool on Saturday 29 August 2026. A large Harry Wright team raced across both the morning and afternoon sessions, with ten swimmers reaching the podium and thirteen more finishing in the Top 8.

Many of the squad were competing in an HKGSA competition for the very first time, and a number posted times fast enough to qualify for higher Division meets next season.

Event Background

The Division 3 meets are run by the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association as the entry-level tier of the territory's age group competition structure. They are where developing swimmers gain their first taste of formal, officiated racing over a 50m long course pool, and where qualifying times for Division 2 and Division 1 are earned. This was the final Long Course Division 3 fixture of the 2026 season.

Why This Meet Matters

Division 3 is where the Harry Wright competitive pathway begins. For many of the swimmers listed above, this was a first officiated long course race — and the number of Top 8 placings and higher-Division qualifying times achieved across the day reflects the depth building through the Harry Wright squads in Hong Kong.
