Harry Wright's Siobhan Haughey and Ian Ho Medal at 2026 Asian Games

Harry Wright Swim School athletes delivered a standout medal haul for Hong Kong at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan (20–25 September), headlined by Olympic medalist Siobhan Haughey and Hong Kong record-breaker Ian Ho.

Siobhan Haughey's Five-Medal Games

Haughey opened the meet on Day 1 with silver in the women's 4x100m freestyle relay, helping the Hong Kong team set a new national record of 3:36.59. She followed with individual gold in the 200m freestyle (1:54.96) on Day 2, gold in the 100m freestyle (52.45) on Day 3, and closed the Games with silver in the 50m freestyle (24.32) on Day 5 — an outstanding run across four days of competition.

Ian Ho Sets a Hong Kong Record

Ian Yentou (Ian Ho) claimed silver in the men's 50m freestyle (21.76) on Day 2, then set a new Hong Kong record in the 100m butterfly with a time of 52.78 on Day 3 — one of the standout individual swims of the Games for the Hong Kong team.

Adam Chillingworth Reaches the Final

Harry Wright swimmer Adam Chillingworth reached the final of the men's 200m breaststroke, finishing 8th in a time of 2:11.27 — a strong result on the biggest multi-sport stage in Asia.

Former Harry Wright Swimmers Medal in Triathlon

The Games success extended beyond the pool: former Harry Wright swimmers Robin Elg and Oscar Coggins won bronze for Hong Kong in the mixed triathlon relay, a reminder of the strength Harry Wright's competitive programme builds across multiple sports.
